Established in 2001 and designed by renowned Canadian architect Doug Carrick is a championship caliber layout. Magna Golf Club, which measures a lengthy 7307 yards Par 72, was recognized by Score Golf as Best New Course 2002.
Masters Champions Bernhard Langer and Mark O’Meara went out of their way to state Magna’s signature course conditioning reminds them of the great Augusta National Golf Club. Magna Golf Club boasts lush fairways and gently contoured greens, both guarded by 89 strategically placed bunkers and deepest rough in the area.
Equally impressive is the one acre bent grass range and accompanying Academy used by members for private practice. Get real game feedback with Nike One balls landing on target greens that are maintained to course standards. An adjacent chipping green, practice green side and fairway bunkers will help you sharpen your short game skills. To fine tune your game, The Academy is equipped with state-of-the-art club fitting systems, launch monitors and premium practice equipment. Over the past four seasons the club has hosted a number of boutique events for the world’s finest. The overwhelming success of the inaugural Tiger Woods Invitational has brought such greats as Sorenstam, Toms, Garcia, Watson, Langer, Pressel and Canada’s Kane and Weir to Magna.
