For private club golfers living within the Greater Toronto Area, The Summit Golf & Country Club has, since 1912, offered a challenging Stanley Thompson designed course laid out over 259 acres of natural terrain in the heart of the Oak Ridges Moraine. Unique today amongst private golf clubs, Summit continues to be as our founders envisioned it so many years ago, a refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. From the moment you walk to the first tee you’ll recognize that Summit is unique. You don’t see a house or any development when you play on our course. Conveniently located on Yonge Street, just south of Stouffville Road, access is a breeze from either the 400 or the 404 highways, but not nearly as easy as access to the first tee.

Summit is a golfer’s golf club. Pace of play is quick. Access to the tee is terrific and you can pick up a game or a new friend as quick as a wink. Our golf package includes a short game practice facility with two large practice greens for your putting and an additional two target greens with adjacent bunkers to practice your other short shots. Our range features both natural and artificial teeing surfaces so it can be used in all sorts of weather during the season.

Our full time teaching professional and assistants can assist you with your game. We run clinics and camps to introduce your children to the game as well.

At Summit, we are proud to offer our members the opportunity to play at other fine clubs in the area. Our charter membership in Private Club Connect enables members to play locally at Thornhill Golf & Country Club, Weston Golf & Country Club and York Downs Golf & Country Club, as well as in the Collingwood area at OslerBrook Golf & Country Club at no additional cost. Our membership also enjoy national and international arrangements through our agent Global Club Services when travelling outside the Greater Toronto Area and around the globe.

The Summit offers no apology for who we are or what we offer: a natural setting; a great traditional layout designed by the master, laid over the land on one of the finest golf properties in the country; amenities to aid your game and for relaxing after your round; a small membership with costs that are very affordable – in short, a golfer’s golf club.
